I am passionate about improving the way we work as an industry - both to benefit businesses; keeping the industry growing; and to benefit individuals; reducing stress, creating easier (but effective) ways of working, and attracting new people to what is a great industry!

I am an experienced practitioner in all aspects of process improvement within the built environment, with an ability
to encourage and initiate progressive ideas, and undertake process and resource efficiency initiatives. My experience covers delivery of improvement projects, training and coaching across all the breadth of the industry. My previous experience includes working on a wide range of construction projects from an engineering, design and innovation approach. 

I have gained extensive experience in construction throughout my career, working for client, consulting and contractor organisations. My progression from a site engineer, through design management and into a project and supply chain improvement role has given me an appreciation of all aspects of project delivery, with a focus on cost and time reductions, aligned with quality, safety and environmental improvements. I built my process improvement knowledge and experience through the adaptation and introduction of lean tools and techniques into my own organisation, our suppliers and clients; working with all levels of people within the office and on site.

I have excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills and use these everyday to work with organisations across the broad spectrum of the industry on improvement activities for individual projects through to management systems.
